Roster Raise: Team Fundraising Agreement

1. Role of the Platform

Curveball Critiques LLC provides a gamified software platform to facilitate fundraising campaigns. The Platform is a technology provider, not a money transmitter, bank, or financial institution. All financial processing is handled securely by our third-party payment processor, Stripe.

2. Funds Flow and Platform Fees

By using Roster Raise, you agree to the following financial structure:

• The Platform applies an 8% platform fee to all donations collected through your campaign.
• Standard credit card processing fees (typically 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction) are deducted by Stripe.
• The remaining funds are routed directly to the Organizer's connected Stripe account. The Platform does not hold, manage, or delay your funds.

3. Account Verification (KYC) and Taxes

To collect payouts, the Organizer must complete Stripe's onboarding process, which includes verifying your identity (KYC/AML compliance) and providing banking details. The Organizer is solely responsible for assessing, collecting, reporting, and remitting any applicable taxes to the appropriate tax authorities.

4. Use of Funds

The Organizer represents and warrants that all funds raised through Roster Raise will be used strictly for the stated purpose of the campaign (e.g., team travel, tournament fees, equipment, facility rentals). Fraudulent campaigns, misrepresentation of funds, or using funds for unauthorized personal enrichment is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account termination and potential reporting to local authorities.

5. Chargebacks, Refunds, and Disputes

Because funds flow directly to the Organizer, the Organizer assumes all liability for donor chargebacks, disputes, and refunds. If a donor successfully issues a chargeback through their credit card company, Stripe will deduct the disputed amount (plus any associated bank fees) directly from the Organizer's connected bank account. Curveball Critiques LLC is not liable for negative balances or refunded donations.

6. Campaign Content and Intellectual Property

The Organizer grants the Platform a non-exclusive license to use the team's name, logo, campaign text, and uploaded media to host and promote the fundraising page. The Organizer warrants they have the rights to all images and text uploaded to the campaign.
