No Transparency with parents. No financial record keeping. Lacks player development. Coach refused to have to conversion with parents never had time.

Good morning I wanted to share my experience with Fl Mets. They shouldn't have a team and parents need to know. My son played on the 12u mets fall n spring till we left. As an organization you pay via cash app or venmo to one account. No invoices were ever sent to parents a d requestfor them were ignored. We planned to go to Pigeon Forge in July as a team. We a core group of 6. Were basically the only ones who fundraised. Myself n another mother set up all the event as the head coach coach C (Corker) wanted no part. From Sept till March we did Publix, jags games, anything at the stadium to help each kid raise enough money. Mind u its a team of 13 due to go. After any event we would sent anywhere from 1500 to 3500 to the coach for the bill to ripkin. Not once did he sent out receipt of what was made per player in there accounts or what was paid to ripkin. What we did get was threats of canceling even tho we paid each month and he knew not all players were paying. By the time I had enough. After months of threats, no time from coach to answer any question on anything or to get updates He was asked if we could speak he would say he didnt time or ill call you and never did. We were promised player development and it didnt happen. My son would practice as a catcher but be thrown in to pitch ( never pitched) or anywhere else. Hitting practice was a joke each kid hit 3 or 4imes once a week. We paid 180 a month never once got a receipt. When it came to tournament he would tell us a price but it always seemed high. 80 to 100 for a usssa tournament? Or 98 for a pg tournament. Parents started to ask why so much coach C would reprimand us and sat we were accuse him of stealing. Reality was families he knew all were not paying and again the group was expected to pay for those who didnt. I was told I ask to many questions baseball is simple I pay and he plays.. I had enough and left but coach refused my refund of Pigeon Forge. No contracts were ever signed. If I had that money my son could have played with another team and still went. The coach allowed his old players parent to gossip and talk shit about us after we left on the team Facebook page. I have proof of everything but not sure where to turn. In the end I dont recommend the fl mets and coach C to anyone. Alot of fakse promises of development and skls that never happened. Miss treatment of players and parents lies after lies and no answer if where my money went. Anothet child is going for free on my dime n time.
