Jupiter, FL
A Good Local Travel Team Experience
SUMMER 2025
10U
My son played with the Jupiter Hammerheads youth travel team, and overall, it was a good experience. Just to be clear, this isn’t the same as the pro Hammerheads that play at Roger Dean Stadium, but the kids like that connection. It gives them a little boost of pride wearing the same name. The coaches were pretty easy to reach, especially the 10U manager. Communication was solid, and we always knew what was going on. The competition in the South Florida Travel Baseball League was legit but still local enough that we weren’t driving all over the state every weekend. There’s not a ton of info online about the program—stuff like the coaching philosophy or player development—but once you’re part of the team, you get a sense of how they operate. For a local travel option with a community feel and some solid baseball, the Hammerheads are definitely worth checking out.
