West Boca Raton, FL
Our Experience with the W Boca Panthers
SUMMER 2025
12U
As a parent, I really appreciate what the W Boca Panthers program stands for. It’s not just another travel team, it’s an extension of the West Boca Youth Baseball league, which has roots in the South Palm Beach and North Broward communities. The league runs under the Babe Ruth/Cal Ripken system and offers baseball for kids as young as four all the way up through their mid-teens. It’s a great place for families to start, and you can really see how the travel program grows out of that. What I like most is the approach to development. The focus isn’t just on wins and losses—it’s about teaching kids to learn and love the game first. The travel side feels like a natural next step for players who want more competition but still want to stay connected to their town. Players are expected to prioritize the spring recreational season, which keeps a nice balance between fun and commitment. It really feels like an extended baseball family rather than a commercial travel program.
